La Pedrera ticket with audio guide

This is La Pedrera's own day ticket, sold on GetYourGuide by the building itself, with skip-the-line entry and an audio guide through the courtyards, the 1911 apartment, the attic and the rooftop. Pick it if you want the whole house at your own speed and the option to cancel up to 24 hours before.

La Pedrera Ticket with Audio Guide

About this experience

Gaudí built Casa Milà from 1906 to 1912 for Pere Milà and Roser Segimon, and it was his last civil work. Barcelona nicknamed it La Pedrera, "the stone quarry", as a jibe at the rough, rippling stone front. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1984, and it is still a working building, with rented flats, offices and shops around the visit. More than 29 million people have toured it.

This ticket gets you skip-the-line entry and an audio guide, then the full self-guided route: the Flower and Butterfly courtyards with their painted walls, the tenants' apartment furnished as a bourgeois flat of 1911, the attic and the rooftop. The attic sits under 270 brick catenary arches. It was built as laundry rooms and now holds Espai Gaudí, the only exhibition on his whole career, with models, plans and videos. The rooftop has 29 chimneys, alone or in sets of 2, 5 or 7, plus stairwells and ventilation towers clad in trencadís; one group is covered in green champagne-bottle glass, and an arch frames the Sagrada Família.

La Pedrera puts the visit at about 1 hour 30 minutes. The listing has 4.7 stars from 29,827 reviews, and guests praise the audio guide and the views from the roof. There is no live guide, so the story comes through your headphones. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before is a real plus here, since tickets bought from the building's own site cannot be refunded.
